Mid-level health care providers are known as paramedics in Nepal. Paramedic means, “A person trained to give emergency medical care to people who are seriously ill with the aim of stabilizing them before they are taken to hospital.” Until now, paramedics are the backbone of Nepalese health care system. They are trained for primary level clinical care, health education and promotion activities, health advocacy and literacy, data recording and reporting.....................................
